In the SNES version, Mario arrives last in Antarctica, with Luigi and Yoshi already present - Mario apparently warps to Antarctica by accident while distracted by the incomplete title in Dinosaur Land, with Luigi being eager for them to enter the castle. Despite his brother's warnings against taking candy from strangers, Mario accepts and eats candy offered to him by Bowser, disguised as a butler, allowing Mario to be captured in a net. In the PC version, Luigi is too frightened to enter the castle, forcing Mario to enter alone. There are many different reasons for this depending on the version of the game being played. However, Mario is captured by Bowser when he continues on his own. Mario, Luigi and Yoshi follow Bowser to Antarctica to stop him. In order to buy the hairdryers, Bowser has his Koopas travel all over the world and steal various important landmarks he plans to sell.
